Security Assumptions in Shortings
When you design shorting, naturally, because every validator only validates a subset of shorts, then every short gets fewer validators tn than the security of the whole system. Security asuption number one says, ha, if i get a very large set of validators, like, let's say ten thousand, and they sampled from them randomly a thousand valudators, then you can say, he if the original said had, let ay, no more than 30 % of bad gase, then you can deduce that the sample will also have 40%. And so there are many charted systems which are lie fo day, which rely on this assumption. Ah
