I found an article that said people with ADHD like drinking because it is like a downer. So you feel like included in the group because people are acting the way you act when you're sober. I talked to a psychiatrist and it wasn't like an official test or anything. She let me talk uninterrupted for 10 minutes and she said, it's bad. You talked about 5 million things. But yeah, I started taking medicine and it changed my life.
