The deep sleep state gives us a clue to annde bliss, not particular pleasures but peace beyond all problems. What we are aware of is not apart from the awareness - just as in the dream whatever we saw was not apart from dreaming mind. And it was the mind itself, by itself, which appeared as all of that. The waking state gives us the clue to such existence: consciousness can be everything. In innm at this point in our analysis, the ultimate reality alone is appearing as this entire universe.
"I, the One, illumine this body and also reveal this universe. Therefore, mine is all this universe or indeed nothing is mine." Inspired by this verse from the Ashtavakra Gita, Swami Sarvapriyananda speaks on the nature of the Self.
