The Role of Deal Team Members in Portfolio Management
In most cases, private equity firms rotate through associates in a two- and three-year plan. So you may end up over the life of an investment, same partner, but you might get a different associate. Sometimes we even trade associates across deals, so they get experience working with a different partner. The senior person, the deal team member, the partner that close that deal, yeah, they'll be with it for the life of the deal.
