Is There a Romantic Subtext in Relationships?

A lot of men who end up in the friend zone have removed the sexual subtext from their interactions and it, the potential for any sort of romantic development has completely disappeared. The problem that arises is that a lot of men either think that they are much lower made value than they are or going after women who are much higher made value. It's this transactional idea that takes romantic attachment out of the equation. Women don't want to date a man who's just happy to be there. She wants to fuck the guy who owns it.
