What Is the Software Identity Identifier?

The software heritage ID is the pre-fects anyway, is registered with IANA. We are now in the process of creating a real ISO standard for these identifiers that we take several months of time to complete. There is a website dedicated to this that is called SWHIT.org where you can join the team that works together on improving the standard. You just go to this website and see the pointers to the current specification, which is undergoing the review.
