The Challenges of China

I don't think we are facing a new Cold War. I don't think China wants to go wars. And I don’t think really anyone in Europe does. The rhetoric in America about China has run away. It's gone far too far in describing China as the enemy. They're much bigger than they were, but China's a great power. Just to be a great power, it's in a way our fortune that China has laid low for so long. We only have to go back into Chinese history to find parents when it has exerted much more muscle.
