Did the Flood Geologists Really Believe in an Old Earth?
The geologists who put the column together were mostly not evolutionists. They they were people who so broadly accepted that the earth was very old, that maybe creation had happened in over long eras of time. But these people were not evolutionists, but they did believe in an old earth. You know, there was no radi radio ic dating, so we didn't have absolute ages that we could assign to these rocks. Am, so they weren't putting the column together as an argument to support evolution. The question is, do they understand? Do they have a model of where these layers are coming from? Or are they simply describing what they observe?"
