I was really excited to meet Mickey Hart. He's always been interested in the potential of rhythm as a tool to improve health beyond its entertainment value. And so when he told me this, I was really intrigued because there wasn't very strong empirical data about what it's doing and how well it works. The idea came to me that we can build a rhythm training game to help people become more rhythmic and then look at to see what benefit that has on the functioning of their brain and their cognitive abilities.
