How Much Are We Spending on Climate Change?
14 trillion dollars spent on economic recoveries since the beginning of pandamic intwenty imean. That's roughly the same as china's annual g d p. Part of things that were promised within these fiscal recovery measures then were things to tackle climate change, green new deals on what have you. Six per cent of spending was dedicated to measures that would eventually reduce global omissions. About three % of money was spent on things like airland baleouts that would increase omissions over the status. The 91 percent of money was essentially spent on carbon neutral things.
