What's on the Hand?

My stepfather baked a ham and he baked the entire thing in the oven with a lid on completely in the bag. When he pulled it out, me, who just happened to be standing there and I am a connoisseur of cooking, even at a young age, was like, Oh my God, what is on the hand? And he was like, what do you need? I said, listen, you have to stop. He put the entire thing on and baked it and didn't know. That's the best.
