We ask holy spirit to reveal in us the ways our faith is informed by our world view. Any faith that doesn't engage with others is simply a thought exercise. The downfall of civilizations is always when we refuse to remember that. We can hold our nose and plug our ears, or we can decide to honor the man who founded this institution by living lives that look like his. And now a benediction, lord, we have mored over crowns.
