Mihaela and Vero entered the bowels of the pyramid. They found a burial chamber filled with stone sarcophagi that told the planet's history in an unknown language. The probe buzzed around, shot video and picked up bits of metal and desecrated debris. Inside the wombs, metallic children slept covered with chica and cocoa leaves and surrounded by toys. Machaela spotted a rosary woven between an android's fingers. How was it possible? Did their programming evolve to the point where they believed themselves to be human?
