The exact events that occurred in that hotel room almost 100 years ago are sketchy. Jack would later say that they both returned to the hotel together at three a m although some observers claimed to have seen olive and jack partying without one another at various points in the night. It's possible that olive either swallowed tablets of poisonous solid cleaning solution, thinking they were sleeping pills, or she washed down sleeping pills with a solution of poison and water.
