I was like, well, shall I unfold totally? Like shall I try to write the rawest, most exposed song I could write? And I was like, let's do it. You're going to hear a really raw first drafter. The track started in French but I had to translate it. But because of the pace of the French, it's quite wordy. It was kind of a challenge to make it work in English as well and have that same quality and honesty. To me because the beat is rough it allows me to be sad on top of it.
