In general, daughters do not want to have that relationship with their father. Presumably there was something that caused that. And there's no hint one way or the other about what it might have been. Besides Nietzsche and the Sartre, D'Alambere, Hume, Bertrand Russell, there are a bunch of others that fit this pattern.
