I made a whole movie about overhearing you say you didn't like my movie. And your stepfather didn't like it very much either, right? No. I was honest. He kind of said, maybe you want to stop spending all my money and get a job. It's like that scene in Inside Lou and Davis. With F. Marie Abraham. Unbelievable. An agent when I was trying to get an agent tell me that I should definitely give up the directing part and just be a writer. Who tells somebody like that? Nick has such a terrible memory but he remembers these two people's names very well.
