How to Translate Language to Programs
Five years ago, you had a lexicon that said for every word in my input question or command, these are the possible little program pieces that this word might map to. But nowadays, you can even just do a seek-to-seek model without a grammar at all and hope across your fingers that it works. And using grammars on the output side also is a little bit of a way to say that it has returned.
