The Importance of Kant's Theory
Papa says that kant's critique of pure reason is one of the most difficult books ever written. He writes that it can be hard for us to appreciate the psychological impact of newtonian physics upon the early thinkers modelled after euclid. Popa tries to give a sense of what it must have been like for those early thinkers to have it dawned upon them that newton's theory is actually true.
