I think the digital minds people will just see us as so stupid and parochial to think that like we would have physical bodies. It seems pretty clear that our brain is nowhere near the physical limits of efficiency for what a computer could do. And then it does seem to me unlikely that once these digital minds exist and have such obvious advantages over physical minds, they wouldn't eventually become the predominant source of minds. I guess there's no guarantee that huge humans would desire this, but it does seem kind of unlikely to me that we wouldn't create any digital minds at all.
