The Thesis of Palliative Care

I discussed your book with some of my students at Regent College and where I teach. They had some really insightful observations. And so I wanted to just share in kind of bullet point form some of the things that this prompted in them. One student shared how the books thesis about palliative care reminded him of Holy Saturday when Mary Magdalene and Mary go and anoint Jesus dead body. Another student who actually worked for decades as an ecologist talked about how in ecology, they use another prominent medical analogy, which is triage. So let me go through these.
