Distressed Investing Comes With Two Advantages
The biggest amounts of money are lost by investors when the things they're in love with, it turned out they loved them too much and overstated the merit. There's no such thing as assets that investors love in the distressed, dead arena. The other advantage is that we get to go in at a valuation that's far superior, in most cases, than the original investor did. So we start with a leg up, if you will, and then get to make our assessments.
