For the for the Jesworth theory more generally, I would recommend some of the writings by this mid 20th century philosopher named Elizabeth Anscombe. She was a Catholic philosopher who wrote several short articles on war in the middle of the 20th century. And I finally had recommend another contemporary just war writing James Turner Johnston.
