The Power of Protocols in the Marketplace
The lack of built-in delegation has resulted in a specific emergence of LIDO. Some people feel strongly that it could be negative in the long run but it's limited to an initial protocol decision and Ethereum is too big to make otherwise at this point. I also feel surprised that Geth implementation and general these ETH mem pools have been too neutral where the sense of like neutrality is incredibly important especially as you're trying to be as generic L1.
