Is the Inner Core Moving a Bit Faster Than the Rest of the Earth?

This isn't the first observation that's been made. The inner core moving at a slightly different relative speed was first suggested before we had any observational data. So it's not a brand new idea, but certainly in the last year there have been a few different groups who've all said, we really do think something is changing. And it might not be changing in this steady fashion that says the inner core is always moving a bit faster. It might be coming and going. Those are the sorts of stories that are being published at the moment.
