Are You an Analytic Philosopher?
I think no doubt the way that the festival is framed reflects some of my outlook that would be odd if it didn't. What we are trying to do is get the big questions out and into public domain where they're discussed in hopefully a positive fashion. I'm sort of styled as a realist philosopher I grew up with anti-realism but there's obviously a self-referential problem with that because you're hooked into saying he doesn't so you mean by saying that he doesn't, then what does one say about him or her? We use language to hold the world like that not telling us how it is we just hold it like this and then we go along with somebody
