Is There a Problem With Immigration in Canada?
I think it probably just comes down to good old fashioned North American settler colonialist xenophobia and racism. I have yet to see any sort of policy suggestions from the federal government at least that really addresses that. There's already this subconscious belief that, like, immigrants are only valuable here if they produce for us,. And somehow if they're undocumented that they're, and then they're illegal, that then they're worse because we don't know how much they produce or they're doing this in bad ways.
