The Early Church of Mecca

It's been suggested that it was, uh, the early church, the church of the, the apostles. There are all kinds of interesting suggestions about the site and many of these are very early. We don't know exactly the whole history and it really needs to be excavated,. But it's really unlikely that will happen because of its connection with so many religious traditions. It's certainly not the tomb of David.
