Nixon's Cuban Assassination

Under Nixon the US backs IN day's far right opposition for several years and it engages in a program of vicious economic sabotage aimed at collapsing the Chilean economy. The CIA starts reaching out to officers in the military who were solid right-wing anti-communists, including general Augusto Pinochet. During his reign Chilean soldiers continued to train at the school of the Americas they learned fun new counter-insurgency tactics to suppress the left like throwing suspected leftist militants out of helicopters.
