Are We Missing Other Ways of Knowing?

I've been thinking about this a lot in relation to, again, it goes back to your point about Howard Gardner. We prioritize a very particular type of knowing, which is propositional knowing. But I wonder what your thoughts are on, do we miss other ways of knowing? Because I heard you say that teaching hasn't changed much in 2000 years. And school still prioritizes one way, the narrow, logical, deductive way. So my concern is that if we do too much cross curriculum stuff in the schools, then we will end up with people who have no disciplinary specific expertise in any subject. They'll just be a mess.
