I believe that we are living in a generation of yes senior leaders too, but particularly middle managers who have never actually had to make a decision of consequence. I absolutely do believe by the way that because the scoreboard is money in Silicon Valley or title achievement that we have listened to the wrong people for a 15 year period. We're likely is going to stay for quite some time that we don't have those same consequences. And it does mean that probably the sociologist or the sociopath doing resource allocation should be allowed to be a little bit more optimizing for the ancolony as a whole - there's less societal impact.
Jason and Eiso deep dive into corporate politics, hierarchies, and the sociopaths that often sit at the top as they analyze the behaviors of famous C-Level leaders, such as Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer, and pick apart what Engineering Leaders can learn from them.
