Is There a Balance Between Music and Numbers?

I find it fascinating that you can turn something detached from music into sound. Certain things, i really don't know how they they come imen. Music is also made of proportions, numbers. And so there is a moment where all those proportionan numbers, they together in a way that is perfect. It has a sort of balance. But even for me, sometimes that balance, how i arrive to that balance, is a bit mysterious.
