The Progression of a Soldier's Career

As a young lieutenant, I think as most young lieutenants, my first assignment was as a platoon leader. But then you find that the leadership aspect is what is very, very interesting and very challenging. And so I started to find after really just a couple of years in the army that I was reasonably good at it. But I also found that I very much liked it. So they talk about leadership. They make leadership the core of what you're thinking about. That's correct.
