The Argument That There Are Reasons of Justice to Support Climate Change Adaptation
Climate change adaptation typically involves taking measures that protect local communities. Success conditions don't necessarily depend upon what's being done somewhere else in the world, or at least they don't obviously or directly depend upon other parts of the world. So there's a kind of indirect argument that can be made on behalf of the claim that there are reasons of solidarity as well as well as justice to support adaptation efforts in low and medium income countries.
