Samuel D. Parker represented the Commonwealth and for Terrell, Rufus Chote and Anis and AB Merrill Esquire. Bigford's profession as a woman of the night was not really helping the case, but he openly acknowledged what he called, quote, her depraved character. The prosecution also painted a picture of the events leading up to the discovery of Bigford's body.
