What Is Anti-Scientist?

i think putnam brings out the contradiction within modern thought of how a lot of people think about mathematics, for example, as the set of essentially immaterial, eternal truths. And so that's like an example of our intellect, you know, our science, becoming detached and abstract to the point where we think that those abstract things are actually real. What is anti scientific is exactly this detachment from the real world and the belief in these abstractions as if their immaterial objects, right? These abstractions are a mere language for explaining the world. Ah, they are not these absolute, immaterial objects.
