The Montezalites' Concern With God's Justice
No one can be morally responsible for actions that were not in their own power. Some Montezalites even admitted that humans create their actions, whereas everything else is created by God. Theologians understood the Quran as being a sort of divine attribute, as God's word. To make it separately existing thing that is co-eternal with God would be tantamount to shirk or polytheism.
