The Slowdown in Private Equity
I definitely am feeling the slowdown. It really feels like a tale of two cities. Some private equity firms have literally said no new platforms in 2023, only existing investments or just make sure the portfolio is intact. And then there's others that are frankly, they're very aggressive. They're saying, now is the time, right? Almost true contrarians. We tend to be, we think about things more in terms of lower leverage levels.
