The abomb administration wanted to prosecute it sange. They tried to do everything they could, and what they concluded was there was no way to prosecute julian asange without also criminalizing all journalism. The goal was to force him into detention between the decade between the eador and the three plus years that he's now in high security prison. And i can just tell you, as somebody who's a journalist, who has done work like this, every single journalist in the world not only has the right, but the duty to help protect your sources and help them evade detection. You enalize any kind of journalism if this theory prevails.
