How Much Is Too Much?

Nelson: The feeding history is really at the heart of it. He says when an intern, especially going from medicine to pediatrics, they would tell me that two ounces every five hours seemed like not enough. But once you've done it long enough, there is kind of a general sense of how much should be in each child. Nelson: When children are hospitalized, this is what I do with the residents. We kind of go into the nitty gritty and see how many calories per kilo per day we need.
