Actress was part of a short list of women who performed on the Olivier stage. She went to Trinity College Dublin in order to be in a play, but got offered a tricycle job instead. After three years she packed her cases and moved to London where she's worked ever since. Her latest work is dairy girls which has been filmed in Ireland. The Banshees of Inesherin will open this week for BBC1 at 8pm.
