An influencer is any one who can persuade an audience to take action. The two people having a conversation about a product in front of you in line at the grocery store may have influence over your decision, depending upon their tone of voice and what they look like. And so it absolutely is about a person. Although i would argue that brands can become influencers too, but that's a little bit more of a nuaunce that you get into as you, as you dive deeper into the book.
