The Importance of an Ambitious Government

The day after the 2019 federal election, Eustraikmi sent you a message of commiserations. I was feeling a bit down that day. I wanted labour to get up. I preferred labour's policy agenda. The majority of drugs that look great when they come out of the lab do not pass through stage one, two, three clinical trials. And I'm not sure that our social policy labs are any better than the cancer drug labs in producing effective ideas. So tests learn, adapt, or to be the mantra for how we do a whole lot more government policy.
