Jengis khan's story is such a sweeping, epic family drama that i can't help but wonder what some one like william shakespeare might have done. The bard famously wrote plays about england's plantagenet dynasty and he crafted these amazing stories using the historical facts as a templet. And you have to wonder if he'd had the secret history of the mongrols on his shelf. What could he have woven together with this amazing menagerie of personalities? I'd like to think that the moment we just described, the argument over succession, would be a pivotal scene in this hypothetical play. Jengis would definitely get a very long emotional solilo
