The Importance of a Circadian Rhythm

"There's nothing I can do for jet lag. It just takes time, but it drives me crazy to get the circadian rhythm back," he says. Even your gut bacteria take a long time to switch cycle because they are also on a circadian rhythm. When you see sunlight during the day, especially early in the day, your brain and body are just happy. "I think that sinking with circadian rhythms is even more so than getting enough sleep."
