The Rise and Fall of the Amateur Boutique Press

I met Silver first in the late 90s when I went to Art Center, a co-editor of Design in Los Angeles. Before that I was working in the film industry as an assistant accountant and did various jobs on various movies. At some point I decided to go back to school in America and that's why I met Silver. He was doing a presentation on Foucault. So we talked after the presentation and later on I got sort of hired to design the magazine he was editing for the school. That had texts from students and also things that Semidex was working on at the time. And then when I was finished with it I just became the sort of in-house designer
