What's Happening With the Monkeypox Pandemic?
The gay community deserves a huge amount of respect and applause for spreading the information among each other. Ring vaccination was so effective in dealing with smallpox because in Africa, they figured out that if you go to where there's an outbreak and immunize people near the outbreak, you can stamp it out early. In this case, we have a disease that's spreading within one community. It's not a geography, but by dealing with the people who are in contact and in high risk, first, you can stop the virus from spreading.
