The Crumpled Corpses Have Forgotten All
Albion sends eager sons to war, Albion being Britain. That town has got ease just like those partridges in the Maesfield poem we're just resting. Not only do they seize the Amaze defenseless prize and high in air, Britannia's standard flies so the British flag goes up. And again, early 18th century, you don't really expect to see war described in such a negative way. In 1936, the Great War is a way off and the Second World War hasn't happened yet but even so people know what war is like.
