Mixed tape was the main way you got girlfriends and boyfriends when I was young. But finding those tapes was like bumping into a piece of lost time that was so specific as to be just a frozen moment. When machines that played them are gone, when bands that recorded have slung since split up,. it's just a fascinating thing to me.
