The US foreign policy establishment is full of people who all went to the Harvard School of government. Most American governance is not in the hands of those people, right? Like they have their very specific purview and remits. And so you have, when you see these failures in American governance, they tend to be in the areas where those people are most prominent. But that's all politics in the UK. It seems to me. That's 100% of it. There is no counterbalance.
